Michael Jackson sang about it long before its time….
He rocks in the treetops all day long
Hoppin’ and a-boppin’ and singing his song
All the little birdies on Jaybird Street
Love to hear the robin go tweet tweet tweet
What is this Twitter thing? Tweeting? Tweet Chats? I am trying to figure it out. I joined twitter years ago when it first started out of curiosity, but initially I just could not see the purpose of following every random whim or fancy of a stranger. Utility has grown for me over time, however, as I am following interesting people; they provide insights and links to content relevant to my life and profession. Over the past month, I have stepped up my activity level, tweeting and participating in tweet chats to really give this thing an earnest try. I am liking it more and more. I feel like the person in Dr. Seuss’ Green Eggs and Ham. I just might like it Sam, I am!
So in the interest of living design thinking principles, I am prototyping my use of Twitter by co-hosting a tweet chat on design thinking Friday, April 25 at 4:00EST for 40 minutes. We will explore how people are using design thinking, what is useful (or not) about it, etc. My co-host is Design Impact, a non profit design thinking organization led by Ramsey Ford and Kate Hanisian. They use design thinking to create social innovation and help advance non-profit missions.
Come join us at 4 EST at #TrippinwithDI and participate in the conversation.
Hope to see you tweet tweet tweet!
